April is a big month for Dynamite Comics, as they launch some brand new series including Xena: Warrior Princess, The Twilight Zone: The Shadow, and Gold Key: Alliance, not to mention beginning the second chapter for Miss Fury.

April will also see the debut of Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files: Wild Card #1 (of 6). This new original story will take place in the aftermath of the White Night novel and the comic series Down Town. A bizarre double murder will draw the interest of Chicago’s only wizard for hire. However, as Harry Dresden begins his investigation, the clues lead to troubling conclusions about the possible perpetrator and send him on a path that could engulf all of Chicago. Harry Dresden will find himself standing in the middle of the city’s three most powerful factions.

The story will be written by Jim Butcher and Mark Powers with the cover and artwork by Carlos Gomez. Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files: Wild Card #1 (of 6) hits comic book shelves on April 20, 2016.
