Riverdale is a one-hour live-action drama being written by Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and produced by Warner Brothers Studios and Berlanti Productions. The drama is being described as a subversive take on the classic Archie mythos.

Archie, Betty, Veronica and their friends will explore small-town life and the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade. The focus of the show will be the eternal love triangle between Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, and Veronica Lodge.
