‘Riverdale’ Finds its Veronica Lodge

The CW’s Riverdale has found its actress for top socialite, Veronica Lodge, in Camila Mendes.

Mendes joins KJ Apa as Archie, Ashleigh Murray as Josie, Luke Perry as Fred Andrews, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom.

Mendes’ character Veronica is described as a silver-tongued high school sophomore who returns to Riverdale from New York, eager to reinvent herself after a scandal involving her father.
