Variant Covers for DC’s Hanna Barbera Titles

This May 18th, Future Quest a new series that will take teenage adventurer Jonny Quest and the classic Hanna-Barbera action heroes into a whole new dimension. The story comes from Jeff Parker and artist Evan “Doc” Shaner and will have a total of four variant covers in addition to Shaner’s standard cover. DC is giving a look at two of those variants. The first comes from Steve Rude as he depicts Johnny Quest and his pal Hadji. The second comes from Bill Sienkiewicz depicting Space Ghost, Jan, Jace, and their mascot Blip against a backdrop of his arch-nemese, Brak and Zorak.

On May 25th, just a week after the debut of Future Quest #1, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Daphne, Velma, and Fred are at it again solving the mystery behind a nanite-infected world in Scooby Apocalypse. The story comes from co-writers Keith Giffen and JM DeMatteis with art from Howard Porter. Scooby Apocalypse will have also have four variant covers as well as the standard cover from Jim Lee. DC has given us a glimpse of the first two of those covers. The first comes from Howard Porter depicting Scooby-Doo complete with Scooby Snack while the second depicts mystery hunter Fred Jones from legendary artist Neal Adams.
