Archie Comics has inked a deal with Hoopla Digital to bring their acclaimed ‘New Riverdale’ reboot as well as their traditional Archie series along with Sonic the Hedgehog, Dark Circle titles, and more to the digital service.

Hoopla Digital is the category-creating mobile and online service for public libraries. They have partnerships with more than 950 public library systems across North America including Toronto Public Library, Cuyahoga County Public Library, Boston Public Library, Los Angeles Public Library, St. Louis Public Library, and others. They will add popular titles from Archie Comics’ three imprints to their digital app and online service. This means you will be able to get Archie and Jughead, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, The Black Hood, and the upcoming Betty and Veronica, and more through Hoopla Digital. The Archie Comics titles are also immediately available for participating library patrons to instantly access on Hooopla Digital’s app and online service via smartphones, tablets, and computers.

The deal with Archie Comics will increase Hoopla Digital’s collection of more than 500,000 movies, TV shows, music albums, eBooks, audiobooks, and comics. This adds to their ever growing list of publishers which includes DC Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Valiant Comics, and more.
