WATCH: Universal’s The Mummy Trailer

Universal Pictures has just released a teaser trailer for The Mummy starring Tom Cruise.
As you would expect Cruise has a heavy presence in the short trailer, but the end of the teaser is what you will be waiting for. At the end of the tease you get a first look of the female Mummy played by Sofia Boutella.
Betrayed and entombed in a crypt beneath the desert, an ancient queen awakens to enact her vengeance towards a world that stripped her of life and destiny.
The movie will take you from the unending sands of the Middle East to the London metropolis. After being betrayed and entombed in a crypt beneath the desert, an ancient queen awakens to enact her vengeance on a world that stripped her of life and destiny.
Along with Cruise and Boutella, the movie will also star Russell Crowe. The movie will be directed by Alex Kurtzman, the screenwriter and producer known for Star Trek Into Darkness and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The Mummy will be his directorial debut. Jon Spaihts just off his success with Doctor Strange pens the script.
