After thirty four years, a [easyazon_link identifier=”B003XURDAY” locale=”US” tag=”bounintocomi-20″]Blade Runner[/easyazon_link] sequel is upon us. Blade Runner 2049 just released its first trailer today giving us a look at brand new agent, K (Ryan Gosling), who seeks out the missing Deckard (Harrison Ford).

Here’s the official synopsis from Warner Bros. Pictures:

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Harrison Ford reprises his role as Rick Deckard with Ryan Gosling also staring in the film. Blade Runner 2049 has a full cast of well experienced actors such as Mackenzie Davis, Ana De Armas, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, and Dave Bautista . The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve who is known for his work in Prisoners, Enemy, and this year’s Arrival.  Hampton Fancher and Michael Green both penned the script. The Blade Runner universe is inspired by Philip K. Dick’s [easyazon_link identifier=”0345404475″ locale=”US” tag=”bounintocomi-20″]Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?[/easyazon_link] Ridley Scott will be executive producing.
