Chloe Bennet’s Innocent Instagram Post Might Have Just Revealed The Kree’s Return!

Production for Season 5 of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is underway.

So far very little has been released related to the content of this upcoming season. What is known, is the agents will be traveling through space. It also seems that the Kree might return for an unknown amount of episodes this season.

In an Instagram post by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Chloe Bennet, an actor appearing to where Kree makeup and garb is seen walking in the background.

Chloe Bennet seems to have given us an unintended view of the actor in the background of the video she took while on set.

In the video, you can see her playing around with co-stars Natalia Cordova Buckley (Yo-Yo Rodriguez) and Elizabeth Henstridge (Jemma Simmons).

Take a look for yourself. You can spot the actor walking by at around the 28 second mark. Beware there is some harsh language.

Over the last four seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Kree have made appearances. However, they were noticeably absent during Season 4. The fourth season saw the show shifting attention to Ghost Rider aka Robbie Reyes. Because of this it seemed that the Kree were left in the background of the show just biding their time before they made their move. However, they also might have been distracted by the war with Xandar.

Now with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D leaving the confines of Earth, this seems like a plausible time for the Kree to return to the show. There could also be tie-ins with the upcoming Inhumans show. As we know, the Inhumans were created through genetic experiments performed by the Kree. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. might also give us a little bit of a tease for the upcoming Kree-Skrull war that is supposed to play a significant part in the Captain Marvel movie.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, Iain De Caestecker, Henry Simmons. All of which are expected to return in season four.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return January 2018.

What storylines do you hope the show will cover when it makes its return?
