The Flash’s Tom Cavanagh Hints At The Possibility Of Another Harrison Wells!

Since the first season, Tom Cavanagh’s portrayal of Harrison Wells has been amazing. In all its many versions, he has been a large part of what makes The Flash a fun show to watch. He has done a great job of making the character a walking version of Inception in many ways.

Tom Cavanagh in The Flash

Cavanagh talked about the many options currently available for him in the upcoming Season 4 of The Flash. In an interview with CBR, there could be more Harrison Wells characters beyond just Harry, the Earth 2 version who offered to join with Team flash after the Season 3 finale.

We’re going to start with Harry. And then find a way, I think, to try and get a different version of Wells in there, be it some version of Harry or whatnot, as the season’s gaps present themselves.

It all depends on the tone of the upcoming season, according to Cavanagh. That will determine if we will see a return of Wells this season.

In Season 2, it was like, ‘Maybe if we had a jackass who has no social skills and is abrasive.’ And then that was Harry. And then in Season 3, we had a lot of darker storylines. So like, ‘Maybe we add a little more humor’ and that was HR. And so this year, we’ve had a different villain, [Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker], and so I think there’s going to be areas that we could use a different Wells.

On the subject of what fans can expect this coming season, Cavanagh stayed tight lipped on any possible details.

There is stuff that’s involved with this season, that we’re talking about, [about] how Wells might become a different version of Wells. But I think that’s a storyline too far from me to give up, but you’ll see it!

The Flash

This upcoming season of The Flash has a lot going on. From the potential of another Harrison Wells to the introduction of Elongated Man. There is also the Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Flash crossover. This will be one heck of a busy season for Team Flash.

Expect The Flash to return on the CW on October 10, 2017.
