He’s not married. And he doesn’t have any kids. It’s a departure from the upcoming The CW show starring Black Lightning.

However, the shows main villain Tobias Whale will make his presence felt in this upcoming miniseries. But like Pierce, Whale has undergone some changes too. He’s lost weight. He’s built like a brick house now. He’s also no longer an albino. However, he’s still as ruthless and powerful as ever.

Jefferson Pierce aka Black Lightning must fight to keep his students safe in his home town of Cleveland. However, while he is a role model for his students inside the classroom, the city is being taken over by local gangs with deadly super-weapons. Black Lightning must ensure the safety of Cleveland. He’ll be faced with real-world issues in a super-hero world. Black Lightning looks to be in a world of hurt. Will  he be able to overcome?
