In the final chapter of Marvel’s Generations, Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson will stand side by side fighting with each other. However, Steve Rogers is a little bit different than the one who gave hope to the world.

Along with Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers, Generations: Sam Wilson Captain America & Steve Rogers Captain America #1 will also include nine other Marvel characters including Kamala Khan, Miles Morales, Captain Marvel, Thor, and more!

Generations: Sam Wilson Captain America & Steve Rogers Captain America #1 will be written by Nick Spencer with art by Paul Renaud. Renaud will also provide the cover art.

Marvel Senior Vice President and Executive Editor described the book, “GENERATIONS: SAM WILSON CAPTAIN AMERICA & STEVE ROGERS CAPTAIN AMERICA is the capstone to Nick Spencer’s epic run on both incarnations of the star-spangled hero, his final statement on what it means to be Captain America, as Sam Wilson finds himself in a war not his own alongside a very young man who’s been given the opportunity to fight and to inspire—but who could use a little bit of inspiration himself.”

From the non-colored preview pages below, it looks like we will get to see Captain America taking the fight to the Nazis during World War II using his triangular shield, but he will also be joined by Sam Wilson using the iconic circular shield. Then it appears there is a time jump as Captain America is frozen and then revived joining the original Avengers team. Finally, Sam Wilson joins his own Avengers team with a number of Marvel’s newer heroes including X-23 and Totally Awesome Hulk, Jane Foster Thor, Miles Morales, and more.
