Stories surrounding the late great Carrie Fisher are the stuff of Hollywood legend. This new story about the late actress ranks right up there.

Over the last few weeks, the Harvey Weinstein scandal hit tinsel town like Godzilla wrecking Tokyo. From Underworld’s Kate Beckinsale’s own tragic experiences  to Suicide Squad’s Cara Delevigne opening up about her own encounter with the producer. It seems that every few days another person comes forward.

Carrie Fisher took matters into her own hands when a producer couldn’t keep to himself.

Fisher’s friend and screenwriter Heather Ross called into 94.9 MixFM in Tucson. Ross recounted an encounter with an unidentified Sony executive and Oscar winner who tried to force himself on her while in his car back in 2000.  Ross confided in her good friend, Carrie Fisher, about the encounter and needless to say Fisher didn’t take the matter well.

About two weeks later, [Carrie] sent me a message online and she said, ‘I just saw (blank) at Sony Studios. I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany box wrapped with a white bow.’ I asked her what was inside and she said, ‘It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli with a note that said, If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be (clears throat) something of yours in a much smaller box!’

Wow! That’s a way to send a clear message. With all, that’s going on in Hollywood with this scandal, and even more expected to come in the future, it’s great to see someone like Carrie Fisher took a stand against a harassing producer even at the risk of her own career.

Are you surprised by this story at all? Like her own character, she took matters into her own hands!

We will be able to see Carrie Fisher’s final performance as Princess Leia of Alderaan in a few weeks when Star Wars: The Last Jedi makes it to theaters.
