Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Ming-Na Wen Wants To Play Catwoman!

With the upcoming The Batman and Gotham City Sirens movies still in development, it’s highly likely we will see Catwoman return to the big screen. In fact, if Gotham City Sirens makes it to the big screen, we will definitely see Catwoman on the big screen since she is one of three Gotham villains who make up the main cast alongside Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. DC Films and Warner Bros. already have their Harley Quinn in Margot Robbie, but who would play Catwoman? Well if Ming-Na Wen from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has her way she’d be on the top of the list.
Recently the actress made an appearance at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in Atlanta. During a Q&A, she was asked which DC character she’d like to play if the opportunity presented itself. Quickly she said Catwoman. Check out the clip below for yourself!
I know what you’re going to say, “She’s already in the Marvel Universe with Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” But think about it. Would it be far-fetched to see her take on the role? I mean I can think of several actors who have played multiple heroes over the years and even played both Marvel and DC heroes.
The biggest example is Ben Affleck. He’s currently starring in Warner Bros.’ Justice League, but back in 2003 he played Marvel’s Daredevil. Another example is Chris Evans. He’s currently Marvel’s Captain America, but before he took up the shield he played Johnny Storm in the Fantastic Four. It’s definitely possible for Ming-Na Wen to take on the role of Catwoman.
Currently, Gotham City Sirens has Margot Robbie on board for the picture along with Jared Leto to reprise his role as the Joker. Although Leto has cast doubt on whether or not he will return to the role.
