The new costume designs look pretty cool and seem to reflect both a modern and more realistic design. The costumes were designed by Laura Jean Shannon who has previously done work on Iron Man, Scott Pilgrim Versus The World and Blade Trinity. She also recently worked on Disney’s live-action The Jungle Book.

The characters Hawk and Dove first appeared in DC comics back in 1968 in Showcase No.75. Hawk and Dove were originally brothers Hank and Don Hall. The two received superpowers from T’Charr a Lord of Chaos and Terataya a Lord of Order who had fallen in love and wanted to prove to their fellow Lords that Order and Chaos could work together. They granted Hank and Don Hall magic abilities triggered by saying a word. For Hank Hall that word was “hawk.” Hawk and Dove were created by Steve Ditko and Steve Skeaters during the Silver Age of Comics.

Hawk and Dove will be played by Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly. They join Dick Grayson, Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy in the upcoming live-action version of the Titans. They are the second and third members of the team to have their costumes revealed. Earlier this month, we got our first look at Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson in a slick Robin costume. Titans is expected to premiere on DC’s upcoming streaming service.

DC’s Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, and Lindsey Gort as Amy Rohrbach. DC’s Titans will debut sometime in 2018 on DC’s streaming service.

What do you think of the costume? Let us know in the comments below!
