Gotham City Sirens Gets Exciting Fan Made Trailer

Reddit user leos-rdt uploaded a Gotham City Sirens fan-made trailer with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Thandie Newton as Catwoman, and Madelaine Petsch as Poison Ivy.
The trailer splices together footage from Suicide Squad, Batman Returns, and Rocksteady Studios’ Arkham video game series.
The excellent song choice really makes me want to see this movie happen. Plus the casting is top notch!

Gotham City Sirens is currently in development. However, it’s unclear how far along in development it is. Suicide Squad director David Ayer is attached to the project and the last update He is joined by Margot Robbie who will reprise her role as Suicide Squad. It was also reported that Geneva Robertson-Dworet was attached to write the film. Robertson-Dworet previously wrapped up the script for the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot.
There was also buzz that Jared Leto’s Joker would return for Gotham City Sirens.
Warner Bros. and DC Films have been pretty tight-lipped about the project and the film was left off its most recent slate of films.
While details of the movie are few and far between, it’s possible it will be based off Paul Dini and Guillem March’s comic book of the same name which featured Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy as they both teamed-up with each other, but also back-stabbed and tried to one-up each other.
It’s possible the movie might never get made as there appear to be competing Harley Quinn movies. Not only is Gotham City Sirens a potential showcase for Robbie’s Quinn, but Robbie revealed she’s working on a solo Harley Quinn project as well. There’s also a rumored Joker and Harley Quinn film. Not to mention the planned Suicide Squad sequel which will see Robbie return as Harley Quinn.
I’d like to see DC Films bring all of these projects to life!
