Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman recently graced the cover of Rolling Stone as his character T’Challa. In the cover, Boseman is shirtless with a fur coat and the iconic Black Panther necklace that allows him to instantly suit up as the Black Panther.

His co-star Lupita Nyong’o, who plays T’Challa’s lover Nakia in Black Panther, decided to do her own version of the Rolling Stone cover.

Lupita Nyong’o revealed her version of the Rolling Stone cover:

Imitation is the best form of flattery: @chadwickboseman I admire your quiet, confident, regal nature. You brought the wealth of all your knowledge, wisdom and physicality to T’Challa. You led us into the land of Wakanda without ego, without pretense, without fear. We reap the benefits now squarely because of your courage, your fierce dedication, your intense passion, and your grueling workout regimen. And I will never get enough of the way you say the word “because.” We celebrate BREAKING BOX OFFICE RECORDS with @blackpanther for many reasons, but chief among them is because we had you as our king. Enkosi Kumkani!! And congratulations on your @rollingstone cover. From someone who loves you.

As you can see below, just like Chadwick Boseman she is shirtless as well. And just like Chadwick Boseman she has her own coat and her own necklace.

Which version of the Rolling Stone cover do you prefer? Do you like Chadwick Boseman’s or Lupita Nyong’o’s better?

You can see both Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong’o as T’Challa in Nakia in Marvel Studios Black Panther which is in theaters right now. The film has already crushed box office records. It beat Deadpool for the biggest President’s Day opening weekend ever!
