Rumors have been flying that Tom Holland will show up in the Venom movie. The first rumors indicated it would be a Spider-Man appearance, but more recent rumors show it will more than likely just be a cameo of Tom Holland as Peter Parker.

The latest rumor comes from Screen Rant and piggybacks off the field trip from Washington, D.C. that we saw in Spider-Man: Homecoming. This rumor indicates there is a group of students who take a field trip to the Life Foundation building. During this scene, Riz Ahmed’s Carlton Drake gives the students a tour of the facility. It’s quite possible that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and his classmates from the Midtown School of Science and Technology are this group of students who are getting a tour of the Life Foundation building.

However, Screen Rant does indicate their source did not see Tom Holland on set. The building the scene took place in is located on private property, which would make it very difficult to anyone not part of the cast and crew to have access to the set let alone capture any photos or video.

What do you think? Do you think Peter Parker and his classmates will be taking a trip to San Francisco to visit the Life Foundation? Or will Peter Parker be showing up in another manner? Perhaps, he shows up at the very end to assist Venom in taking down Carnage? Or maybe it’s a clip at the end where he sees Venom on TV

Venom hits theaters on October 5, 2018. The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer. It stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Riz Ahmed as Dr. Carlton Drake. The cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, and Scott Haze. The film is allegedly based off the Venom: Lethal Protector miniseries and Planet of the Symbiotes.
