Comic Book Writer B. Clay Moore Claims No One Threatened Diversity & Comics – He’s Instantly Exposed!

Comic book writer B. Clay Moore who has written Image Comics’ Aloha, Hawaiian Dick, Valiant’s Savage, and a number of DC Comics books including The Vampire Diaries, Legends of the Dark Knight, and Superman Confidential recently claimed that no one had “every(sp?) threatened Richard Meyer or conspired to, and that no one has ever presented any evidence that they did.” He would add, “Writing tip: Your case loses steam when you have to lie to make it, son.”

Moore made the claim after his own threats against Meyer were exposed. B. Clay Moore was instantly called out on Twitter for his deception. In fact, his own thoughts about what he wanted to do to Richard Meyer were revealed.
You literally are on the record as conspiring to emotionally abuse him in order to trigger some imagined PTSD in order to cause violence in order to cause him to be blacklisted.
You should be ashamed of yourself, but I’m quite certain you’re unable to feel that emotion.

To provide some context, B. Clay Moore got wind that Richard Meyer, the man who runs the Diversity & Comics YouTube channel, might actually show up at Baltimore Comic Con last year. Once he discovered that Meyer was there, Moore wrote on Facebook, “Oooooh man. Knowing Meyer is going to be there makes me wish I was going.” He continued, “The last thing Meyer is going to do is get violent at a con. But I’d love to follow him around trying to goad him into throwing a punch.”
That’s when Taylor Esposito said, “I’d love to yell “one punch” after you level him.”
B. Clay Moore definitely threatened Richard Meyer with harassment. According to US Legal harassment is generally defined as:
“A course of conduct which annoys, threatens, intimidates, alarms, or puts a person in fear of their safety. Harassment is unwanted, unwelcomed and uninvited behavior that demeans, threatens or offends the victim and results in a hostile environment for the victim. Harassing behavior may include, but is not limited to, epithets, derogatory comments or slurs and lewd propositions, assault, impeding or blocking movement, offensive touching or any physical interference with normal work or movement, and visual insults, such as derogatory posters or cartoons.”
And it gets even worse for B. Clay Moore.
The Maryland State code defines harassment:
“Harassment, covered by state code § 3-803, is defined as following another individual in or around a public place, or maliciously engaging in repeated behavior that seriously annoys or alarms another individual:
-
With the intent to annoy, alarm or harass
-
After being reasonably requested or warned to stop the behavior by the individual or someone acting on behalf of the individual
-
Without any legal purpose”
B. Clay Moore specifically threatened to harass Richard Meyer at Baltimore Comic Con if he was there.
Moore’s not the only one who has threatened Richard Meyer. Image Comics writer Michelle Perez also promised she would turn Meyer into a quadriplegic.
There’s definitely been a number of documented threats against Richard Meyer including one done by B. Clay Moore.
