Deadpool 2 knocked Avengers: Infinity War out of the top spot last week. With Deadpool 2 now on the top spot, Ryan Reynolds and 20th Century Fox continued full steam ahead promoting the film with a brand new promo and thank you.

Reynolds posted the video on Twitter showcasing some new scenes yet to be seen outside of theaters. It also included a very familiar theme song from The Golden Girls, “Thank You for Being a Friend.”

The opening of the video plays the classic Golden Girls theme song and introduces the cast of Deadpool 2 like a classic 80s television show. Deadpool begins the video driving his scooter down a highway before the scene cuts to Deadpool and Cable hanging out in Dopinder’s taxi cab.

The first cast member introduced is Wade Wilson as Deadpool. He’s then followed up by Nathan Summers as Cable. Then Neena Thurman as Domino is introduced. Next up is Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin as Colossus. He’s followed by Dopinder as Dopinder. We then get Althea as Blind Al. Negasonic Teenage Warhead by Ellie Phimster shows up next. As the clip comes to a close we get Peter W. as himself.

As the promo draws to a close were given some new footage that hasn’t been seen outside of theaters such as Wade taking a bow in what appears to be a post-battle scene.

One noticeable missing character is T.J Miller’s Weasel. T.J. is currently in hot water over a false bomb threat incident a few weeks ago. The promo is also missing Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa.

Deadpool 2 is currently the reigning king of the box office, but it’s more than likely it will get beaten by the latest Star Wars film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, this weekend.
