Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Rotten Tomatoes Score Revealed!

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom won’t be hitting theaters until June 22nd, but the Rotten Tomatoes score for the movie has already been released.

The critics have given the movie a 69% with an average review rating of 6.4/10 from 59 reviews.

The consensus from Rotten Tomatoes says, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom adds another set piece-packed entry to the blockbuster franchise, although genuinely thrilling moments are in increasingly short supply.”

The score is on par with what the original film received. Jurassic World received a 71% score with an average rating of 6/7/10 from 311 reviews. The consensus from that film said, “Jurassic World can’t match the original for sheer inventiveness and impact, but it works in its own right as an entertaining – and visually dazzling – popcorn thriller.” The film received an audience score of 78% with an average rating of 3.9/5 from 224,267 users.

It’s really interesting that the two scores are only 2% off from each other, but the general consensus for each film seem years apart.

I’m not really surprised by the Rotten Tomatoes score for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. That appears to be a normal score for a major blockbuster popcorn film from critics. My guess is the audience score will most likely be higher just like the first film.

Will these reviews of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom affect whether or not you see the film? Do you plan on seeing Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom?

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J.A. Bayona based off a script from Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. The film stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ted Levine, Jeff Golblum, BD Wong, Toby Jones, and James Cromwell. It hits theaters in the United States on June 22, 2018.
