Netflix just dropped their first official trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil Season 3.

Take a look:

The trailer continues the promise of a much darker season as Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin is out of prison and he’s got his sights set on Daredevil. Not only does he have his sights set on Daredevil, but it definitely looks like Fisk knows that Matt Murdock is Daredevil.

And he’s got big plans on how to bring Daredevil down. It’s not unfamiliar territory for comic book fans, but it looks like Fisk will try and turn public opinion against Daredevil and make him public enemy number one. Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy also explored this to great degree as the police hunted down Batman believing him to be a much greater threat than Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

However, it looks like Kingpin might have an ace up his sleeve. While the trailer hints that Murdock’s own actions might be the cause of his disfavor, a surprise “twist” at the end reveals someone has been acting as impostor. It’s more than likely Kingpin has hired his very own hitman in Bullseye in order to frame Daredevil for a number of attacks throughout the city.

Bullseye’s appearance in the new season has been highly rumored and seemed to be confirmed when Charlie Cox and Wilson Bethel’s trainer Naqam Washington posted on Instagram stating that Bethel was playing Bullseye.

I’m definitely looking forward to this new season. Daredevil is the only Marvel show that I’ve been able to watch the full two seasons and I can’t wait for this third one. Give me more Wilson Fisk, Daredevil, and Bullseye!

What do you make of the trailer? Are you hyped for Daredevil Season 3? Do you think the Daredevil imposter is Bullseye?
