Marvel Artist Bill Sienkiewicz Endorses Brett Kavanaugh Being Beaten to Death

Marvel Comics and DC Comics artist Bill Sienkiewicz endorsed an alternative reality where Donald Trump’s father Fred Trump convinces his wife to have an abortion and Brett Kavanaugh is savagely beaten to death.

Sienkiewicz is doing covers on DC Comics’ Michael Cray and his work was recently used in a teaser for the “Death of Daredevil.” (Archive link: http://archive.fo/v08E2)

Not only does Sienkiewicz endorse the idea of Fred Trump having an abortion and Kavanaugh being beaten to death, he actually claims this sickening violence would “save millions of lives and very possibly the planet.” I’m at a loss for words. This is just deranged madness.

This isn’t the first time Sienkiewicz has made extremely radical comments. He’s lambasted consumers as well as his fellow peers who have begun opting out of Marvel and DC Comics due to poor storytelling, bad behavior on part of the creators, and forced politicization without any nuance, among other complaints. Instead these consumers and creators have begun creating and purchasing a number of independently produced comics like Iron Sights, Cyberfrog: Blood Honey, Trump’s Space Force, Alt-Hero Q, Flying Sparks, Brand, Jawbreakers – Lost Souls, Red Rooster: Golden Age, Bigfoot Bill, Lonestar: Heart of the Hero, Graveyard Shift, Lady Alchemy, and others.

Sienkiewicz would claim these people “promote hateful, misogynistic, and plain-old ugly dogma.” He would continue to insult them labeling them incels, “To be honest, I just don’t get your deal. Are you so insecure, so afraid, so fearful of the prospect of bearing the ‘incel’ moniker, or by sharing creative space with someone with more estrogen than you- that you’re all somehow threatened to your very manhood or your livelihood?”

If you are unfamiliar with the term incel, it means a person who is involuntary celibate.

He wouldn’t stop there. He would continue to paint members of Comicsgate as “f****** bullies” and “cowards.” He also insinuates they are white supremacists despite a diverse array of creators and consumers make up Comicsgate, “Collectively, you’re a gaggle, a clan,(-potentially with a k unsubtle as that shot may be)- a veritable bag’s worth of douches.” He would continue calling them “creepy racist misogynist uncles showing up at reunions and pissing in the punchbowl.”

Sienkiewicz has also used his art as a call for violence. Back in December of 2017, Sienkiewicz created a number of posters with political and media figures on them. However, these weren’t just ordinary posters. The headshots were turned into targets. They featured Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Sean Hannity, Steve Bannon, Roy Moore, Tucker Carlson, Ajit Pai, Steve Miller, Matt Lauer, Harvey Weinstein, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump. Not only would he make these posters he would also call for violence against everyone he drew by using the hashtag #Punchthemall.

What do you make of Sienkiewicz’s newest endorsement of seeing Brett Kavanaugh being beaten to death? Do you think Sienkiewicz has taken it too far?
