Stan Lee famously said, “Every comic book is someone’s first.” And this may not be my first comic by a long shot, it does mark several firsts for me. It’s my first issue of Unity, and my first Valiant comic as well.

Deep under the mountains of the American Southwest, Quartz, of the Armor Hunters who attacked Earth, is kept secure in government custody. Escape is impossible from the inside. But can the combined might of the U.S. armed forces, X-O Manowar, and Unity stop a jailbreak from the outside…when that attack is an all-out suicide strike by Unity’s giant killer GIN-GR?!

Valiant Comics has just released a new trailer for their upcoming four issue series Book of Death. The book will feature a number of Valiant’s major players including X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Ninjak, Unity, and the Harbinger Renegades.
