Heroes makes its return to our television sets this fall with an all new series Heroes Reborn.

Creator Tim Kring returns to his original work where he hopes to rekindle the spark of the first season depicting ordinary people realizing they have extraordinary abilities.

The show features a number of returning cast members including Jack Coleman as Noah Bennet, Jimmy Jean-Louis as The Haitian, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Mohinder Suresh, Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman, Christine Rose as Angela Petrelli, and Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura.

There will also be a number of new cast members taking on the roles of heroes and those who hunt them.

The trailer portrays a massive global hunt for the heroes using new technology to identify them. The hunt is ruthless as powered individuals are gunned down in public meetings and ruthlessly hunted. One hero appears to cut his hand off in order to escape his pursuers. The hunt appears to force the heroes into hiding potentially in another dimension.

The hunt may not be the heroes only threat. One larger and potentially harmful to all of humanity looms in the sky above them. The apparent impending doom is happening more quickly than expected and the heroes are losing control.

Heroes Reborn premieres September 24, 2015 at 8/7c on NBC.

It doesn’t appear that saving the cheerleader, saved the world.
