Marvel has released two shorts detailing what they call Gamora's origins. However, the shorts are more of a prequel to the cinematic Guardians of the Galaxy than an actual origin story of Gamora. They depict Gamora competing against Nebula and Korath in order to become Ronan's second. She has to not only evade an ancient fortress' defenses, but outwit her so-called companions as well.
