Z2 Comics Teams With Tapas for Mobile Reading Pleasure

Z2 Comics is teaming up with new mobile content provider Tapas to bring two of their titles, [easyazon_link identifier=”B01EK2MUCE” locale=”US” tag=”bounintocomi-20″]Legend[/easyazon_link], a post-apocalyptic animal story from Sam Sattin and Chris Koehler, and Ian McGinty’s Welcome to Showside to their mobile platform.
If you are unfamiliar with Tapas, it just launched this April and uses proven mechanics of mobile gaming (micro-transactions) to revolutionize how artists and creators can monetize their work on mobile platforms. The Tapas app presents readers with a selection of curated content they can read on the go.
Here’s how it works: Tapas will offer Welcome to Showside #1 in five short chapters. The first two episodes will be available for free with the three additional episodes available for purchase with credits within the app which cost $.50 each.
