In [easyazon_link identifier=”1534302875″ locale=”US” tag=”bounintocomi-20″]Street Angel: After School Kung Fu Special[/easyazon_link], creators Jim Rugg and Brian Maruca will introduce graphic novel readers to Jesse “Street Angel” Sanchez a kung fu master on a skateboard who also happens to be a homeless orphan failing seventh grade. She will be taking the Ninja Kid to school where her fists are the facts and his face is the report card. She will also be faced with the big Saturday night dance where love might possibly be in the air?!?

Jim Rugg describes Street Angel as “”a cross between the A-Team, a xenomorph, and Lacey Baker. She loves food, fist fights, hanging out with friends Bell (a robot), Lilith (Satan’s daughter), and Emma (a zombie), skateboarding, candy, pizza, nutraloaf, grilled cheese, General Tso’s, french fries, beer, chips, moon pies, Twinkies, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, tacos, pancakes, spaghetti, mac & cheese, peanut butter, BBQ, wings, soda…”

While his co-creator Brian Maruca says “Street Angel puts the fun back into being an orfun.”
