Karen Gillan’s Nebula Joins Filming for Avengers: Infinity War!

It broke last week that filming was underway for the latest Avengers installment, Avengers: Infinity War. This will be the largest assembling of Marvel heroes on the big screen to date, so it’s not surprising that reports of actors and actresses will be going in and out of the production of the film as the movie is being made. With all that said as of Thursday morning, Nebula from Guardians of the Galaxy has joined the ensemble.

Played by Karen Gillan,  who is best known for her role as Amelia Pond in the BBC series “Doctor Who,” Nebula will be making her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All this came to light as she tweeted out the following:

Though it may be for the case for many other characters, it’s expected that Nebula will have some good screen time in this film because of how the story arc of the original comics utilized the character in major ways. Currently, Avengers: Infinity War is filming in Atlanta.

According to Marvel Studios, Avengers: Infinity War is described as the culmination of complex story-lines of each individual movie from the studio since 2008’s Iron Man. Nine years in, Marvel is pulling all of the stops to make sure that everything comes together. With that said, the confirmed cast so far includes Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Josh Brolin, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Wong, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, and Dave Bautista.

As you can see it is an impressive line up.

What do you think, are you looking forward to Infinity War?
