The supposed leak reveals that Bruce Wayne aka Batman will have his own cameo in the film.

You are probably wondering, how in the world is Bruce Wayne going to show up in a movie set during World War I. Well you only have to look back at Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger to see how easy it is to bring a character into the present. But Warner Bros. looks to be doing the opposite of Marvel and beginning the movie in the present before flashing back into the past.

If the rumor is true, the film will open in modern-day Paris where Diana and Bruce are exchanging emails as seen in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. The idea is that during Bruce and Diana’s email exchange, she will flashback to World War I. By the end of the movie after Diana has recalled her history during World War I, she will offer to join the Justice League and help find the other Meta Humans. This means it is quite possible that the entire Wonder Woman film may actually take place before the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

It’s unclear if Bruce Wayne only shows up in email or if Ben Affleck will actually appear in the movie.

Gal Gadot reprises her role as the iconic Wonder Woman. She is surrounded by a talented group of cast members which include Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Danny Huston, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Elena Anaya. The movie is directed by Patty Jenkins while the screenplay was written by Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns. The story comes from Zack Snyder and Allan Heinberg. All of which is based on characters from DC Comics. Wonder Woman was created by the legendary William Moulton Marston.

We will see if the rumor is true when the movie hits theaters on June 2, 2017.
