Just like anyone else I was beyond hyped to finally see the latest trailer from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. Between the great music, ensemble, and the one-liners the trailer already has me ready to run out and go see the film. So what’s so great about the trailer? Well, I’m glad you asked, here’s my list of the top four moments from the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer.

  1. Rocket’s inability to wink with the right eye. Like the rest of the misfits who make up the Guardians, sometimes social cues tend to be forgotten and even ignored. Rocket perfectly embodied this when he attempts to not only lie but to inform Star Lord of his deceit. As we see in the trailer he fails miserably.
  2. Gamora and her BFG. Nothing says tough as nails as someone carrying a giant gun into a fight, and in this part of the trailer, we get to see Gamora not only carry one, but walk right into the heat of battle. This plays right into her character’s nature.
  3. Baby Groot’s wave to Gamora in the middle of a major battle. Watching Baby Groot wave was sweet, but the part that was really cool was seeing Gamora coming right out of battle, look over at Baby Groot and he just waves innocently.
  4. Finally, Star-Lord’s father finally finding his son. I’ve been a huge fan of Kurt Russell for years, I mean who doesn’t love Snake Plissken or Jack Burton. But seeing him in the final reveal of the trailer still filled my spine with a ton of chills, and just made me wish I could see the movie sooner.

So what were your top four moments from the latest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer? Did you like my pick, or do you think I missed something? Tell me in the comments!
