The CW is shuffling up their DC superhero schedule according to Arrow star Stephen Amell who unveiled Arrow Season 6 will be debuting on Thursday October 12 at 9 pm.

Arrow previously debuted new episodes on Wednesdays on The CW at 8 pm.

Along with unveiling the new day and time slot, Amell joked the show might be able to cross more social boundaries saying “Hopefully the later time slot leads to at least one bare bum shown on tv.”

Season 5 ended just over two weeks ago on May 24th and is already streaming on Netflix along with Season 2 of Supergirl, Season 3 of The Flash, and Season 2 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow!

Arrow Season 5 saw Oliver Queen ascend to the position of Mayor of Star City. The Green Arrow’s defeat of Damien Darhk inspires a brand new crop of vigilantes which Oliver tries to bring into the fold after John Diggle and Thea hang up their cloaks. However, they prove to be obstacles rather than allies. Oliver is also faced with a new deadly foe who will force him to confront his legacy as the mayor and Green Arrow.
