Netflix’s upcoming The Punisher series just released their first teaser trailer.
The trailer features Jon Bernthal’s Punisher providing a voice over while the Punisher carries out extreme violence.
Throughout the video, we see The Punisher wielding a giant sledge hammer as he repeatedly slams it on the ground before finally dropping it.
“It’s the devil you sold your soul to. He’s coming. He’s coming to collect.”
The camera then pans out and we see what the sledge hammer created: The Punisher’s logo.
The teaser definitely promises to be extremely violent keeping with The Punisher’s comic character and living up to Jon Bernthal’s promise for the character.

Jon Bernthal reprises his role as the Punisher. He will be joined by Ben Barnes as Billy Russo aka Jigsaw. Russo was Castle’s best friend during his days in the Special Forces, but he now runs a private military corporation called Anvil. Ebon Moss-Bachrach takes on the role of Micro, a former NSA analyst whose secrets could aid Frank. Amber Rose Revah will become Dinah Madani, a Homeland Security agent who is troubled by the Punisher.
A release date still has not been announced, but it is expected to debut sometime this fall.
