‘Redneck’ Writer Donny Cates Teams Up With Skybound To Help Hurricane Harvey Victims!

All over the nation, people are looking for ways to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Donny Cates, writer of Image Comics’ Redneck is among those who wanted to do something. He teamed up with Skybound Entertainment, the group behind The Walking Dead, to create a new T-shirt where all proceeds will go to the Houston Coalition for the Homeless.

The message on the shirt says “Texas Forever” on the front.

Texas Forever Hurricane Harvey Shirt

Currently, the Houston Coalition for the Homeless is working with other local services and groups in the area to find people housing.

The best part is you can help too. By purchasing the shirt you not only get a great looking shirt at a good price, but you also contribute to the Houston Coalition for the Homeless and their efforts to help with those effected by the Hurricane.

But if the shirt isn’t your style there are many other groups who can use some help in their relief efforts.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner started the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. Arrow’s Stephen Amell started his own fundraising initiative to help Hurricane Harvey victims as well.

There are many other groups that help pets, people, and provide services. The New York Times  put together a list to help you find the right groups that won’t scam you. If you are able to, please pick a group and donate, or even volunteer. The people of Houston need your help!
