Marvel Unveils New Synospsis for The Punisher – Hints at What We Can Expect!

Wow, it’s been a busy few weeks for Marvel’s The Punisher!

Yesterday we saw a new video involving an armed team searching an abandoned building for Frank Castle. Not only that, but The Punisher’s official social media accounts have been buzzing with activity lately. But we’ve yet to get one thing many of us have been itching for, an official premiere date for the much-anticipated series. All we know is the series will premiere in November.

While we aren’t getting a premiere date, we did get the official synopsis The Punisher. The synopsis isn’t very long at all. What it does is allow us to see the direction they plan on taking Frank Castle. His journey to hunt those responsible in New York City is going to be brutal!

In Marvel’s The Punisher, after exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children. Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Known throughout the city as The Punisher. He has to discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone.

This season looks to explore who is behind the murder of Frank Castle’s family. Furthermore, we know the show will also look into the character development of The Punisher.

Then there is also the case of Karan Page. I bet that we’re going to see her use her investigative skills to assist Frank in his quest to bring to justice those who murdered his family. And within that dynamic, it’s a wonder what their relationship can turn into as the season moves to its conclusion.

Introduced during Daredevil’s second season, The Punisher has made an incredible impression. Jon Bernthal, known for his work in The Walking Dead, brought Frank Castle to life as he rampaged through Hell’s Kitchen. From his and Matt’s debate on the roof top to his full ascension into costume as the Punisher, we all know in the comics, Jon Bernthal has done an amazing job breathing life into the character.

Netflix has been spending a great deal of time teasing this series to fans through a multitude of social media platforms. That makes me think that they’re happy with the outcome of the series, and fully expect it to follow in the success seen by many of its Marvel Studios projects.

I’m excited for November to roll around, are you?
