Marvel might have DC’s number when it comes to critic reviews, but that hasn’t stopped newly minted DC Films actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson from talking some serious smack.

During an interview promoting his latest film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Johnson was asked which celebrities he’d like to take into the virtual Jumanji world if given the chance, and he wasted no time calling out The Avengers.

Here’s the thing: It’s not just one celebrity I would pull in. No, no, no, no. I would pull them all in. The all who I’m talking about is The Avengers. I’d pull all of them in. All of them need their ass kicked! ‘Cause it’s DC, baby! That’s how we roll. Black Adam!

Johnson, in case you haven’t heard, is reportedly set to star as anti-hero Black Adam in the upcoming Suicide Squad sequel. Between that and his former career as one of the biggest WWE Superstars on the planet, it’s no wonder he sidetracked the interview to cut a promo on the competition.

But as fun as it would be to see, Black Adam will obviously never cross paths with The Avengers, although it is possible that he could cross paths with the Justice League. However, DC Films has been infamously slow in developing the character for the big screen. Believe it or not, Johnson has been attached to play Black Adam since 2008. A Black Adam solo film written by Undateable‘s Adam Sztykiel is in the works.

And it doesn’t look like Black Adam will show-up in David F. Sandberg’s 2019 Shazam! film starring Zachary Levi as Captain Marvel/Shazam. That film already cast Mark Strong to play long-time Captain Marvel foe, Doctor Sivana.  If he does show up it will most likely be in an post-credits scene.
