Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim Teases Live-Action Plans for The Question

Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim revealed DC Comics and Warner Bros. might possibly have big plans in place for one of their most beloved detectives, The Question.
But it won’t be on Arrow or in the Arrowverse.
Guggenheim revealed at ACE Comic Con that he always asks Warner Bros. and DC Comics to use the character.
I always bring him up. I’ve always felt like that character would be a really great fit for the tone of Arrow. That said, it’s not our characters, it’s DC’s characters and they’ve got other plans for The Question, which is awesome.
Guggenheim was then pressed on how Warner Bros. might use the loved detective and conspiracy theorist.
I don’t know what their plans are, but clearly they do have plans or else we would be using him.

The character became wildly popular in DC’s Justice League Unlimited animated series where he was voiced by Jeffrey Combs. The character also took on the role of a conspiracy theorist. However, his conspiracies always seemed to turn out to be true.
The character was originally created by the famed Steve Ditko for Charlton Comics in Blue Beetle #1. DC Comics acquired the character in the early 1980s and began incorporating him into the DC Universe.
His secret identity is Charles Victor Szasz aka Vic Sage and he was based out of Hub City. He was originally an investigative journalist. However, in order to hide his identity he used a substance called Psuedoderm and a mask to hide his identity. It gives him his iconic faceless look.
The Question was the inspiration for Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon’s Rorschach in Watchmen and he also appeared in Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Strikes Again.
