The film features Chris Hemsworth as Thor as he finds himself imprisoned on the other side of the galaxy without his mighty hammer, Mjolnir. He must race against time in order to return to Asgard and save it from the arrival of his seemingly all-powerful sister Hela played by Cate Blanchett. But before he can save Asgard, he must free himself from the gladiatorial pits on Sakaar ruled by the eccentric Grandmaster played by Jeff Goldblum. While on Sakaar he will need to recruit a team to take down Hela. He’ll recruit his old Avengers ally the Incredible Hulk played by Mark Ruffalo, his deceptive and silver-tongued brother Loki played by Tom Hiddleston, and the drunk, but fierce Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson.
