Family Guy Releases Hilarious, New Deadpool Parody

Deadpool Family Guy

Have you been waiting for Family Guy to parody Deadpool? Well, it doesn’t matter because they did and it’s been released online.

Check out the video below!

Since the premiere of the long-running series, Family Guy has been known for its cutaways and parodies. They’ve become a hallmark of the show. But this one might just be the best. Everyone’s lovable fat buffoon Peter Griffin becomes Deadpool for the show’s 300th Episode.

He puts on the red and black suit for a short musical piece that mirrors Deadpool’s opening scene where the Merc with a Mouth finally tracked down Ajax in the middle of a highway. In classic Deadpool fashion, Peter narrates the situation for the audience stating, The treatments didn’t give me powers, but it spread cancer to my anus. From there, we hear Juice Newton’s “Angel of the Morning” just like in the first Deadpool film. However, in the Family Guy version there are altered lyrics that focus on Peter’s butt cancer. I couldn’t help but laugh when the music started playing.

It’s interesting that Family Guy would put this skit out now. They usually are either very current with their parodies or delve years into the past. Deadpool came out almost two years ago. It’s more than likely they had this skit in their back pocket for awhile. Or it could be a brilliant marketing technique for the upcoming Untitled Deadpool Sequel.

Speaking of Deadpool. The Untitled Deadpool Sequel will be coming out a month sooner on May 18th. To me, that’s wonderful news because I don’t want to wait longer than I have to. The Untitled Deadpool Sequel stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Josh Brolin as Cable, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Stefan Kapičić as Colossus.
