New International Black Panther Trailer Features Brand New Footage!

Black Panther

Marvel Studios dropped their latest Black Panther international trailer which features brand new footage from the film along with an appearance by Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman who reveals Wakanda has been connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “ways you never knew.”

Take a look:

The trailer starts off with a familiar scene. Andy Serkis’ Ulysses Klaue is held captive and being interrogated by Martin Freeman’s Everett K. Ross. However, in the next scene we get a brand new look at T’Challa in front of the United Nations. Then we see Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger being brought in front of T’Challa in chains.

That’s when Chadiwck Boseman shows up and explains how Wakanda is connected to the Avengers Universe. He takes us back to 2010 with Iron Man 2. He explains that at the end of the film we see Nick Fury and Tony Stark talking. Boseman then points out the map behind them. There are a number of locations highlighted on the map and one of them is Wakanda. He then explains Wakanda is referenced in Captain America: The First Avenger . Steve Rogers’ shield is made of vibranium and the only place the metal is found is in Wakanda.

Boseman then explains the first time Wakanda is actually mentioned is in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Bruce Banner mentions the country to Tony Stark.

He then takes us to Captain America: Civil War where Black Panther makes his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He even reminds us that the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes, is being relocated to Wakanda.

Finally, Boseman says, “I’ve been around. And now I’m not going anywhere. So, don’t miss me in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther.”

Black Panther debuts in the United States on February 16, 2018. Will you be watching?
