15 Avengers: Infinity War Covers Released!

Marvel Studios and Entertainment Weekly teamed up to produce fifteen covers for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War film.

Not only are there 15 total covers, but they all actually connect to form the Avengers logo. Most of the covers feature a pair of heroes, but some of them get the solo treatment like Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Black Panther.

The covers feature Scarlet Witch, Nebula, Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Doctor Strange, Hulk, Star-Lord, Okoye, Vision, Shuri, Black Panther, Thanos, Spider-Man, Mantis, Winter Soldier, War Machine, Drax, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Falcon, and Gamora.

Take a look:

There are 22 heroes in total with just the one villain. You might have noticed some important heroes have been left out. Hawkeye is noticeably missing despite playing a major role in The Avengers and Captain America: Civil War. Ant-Man and the Wasp are also absent, unless they are hiding due to their small size.

Thanos’ Black Order are also not shown. Marvel Studios have been keeping them under wraps. We still don’t know who will be providing the voices for the characters although Kevin Feige has hinted they will be people we recognize and there is a significant rumor that legendary Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy might have been tapped.

Here’s a better look at all of the covers:

Scarlet Witch and Nebula look ready for business. In fact, Nebula looks like she’s about to straight up kill Thanos!

Nebula and Scarlet Witch

Adolescent Groot looks quite curious as Rocket Raccoon stands ready to defend him. Meanwhile Thor sports a brand new uniform, which is much darker from what we saw in Thor: Ragnarok.

Doctor Strange looks almost exactly the same since we last saw him in Thor: Ragnarok. He does still hold onto the Time Stone though. However, leaked photos have shown he might lose it to the Ebony Maw. That would loosely adapt the storyline seen in Jonathan Hickman’s Infinity.

Hulk gets a new outfit. His pants are much longer than normal and he appears to have also let his hair grow out a bit. There’s no sign of the Hulkbuster though. There’s a popular theory that will see Bruce Banner pilot the Hulkbuster in the fight against Thanos’ minions.

Next up is Star-Lord. Interestingly, he doesn’t have the iconic mustache yet that we saw in the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer. He stands alongside newly introduced Marvel Cinematic Universe character, Okoye.

Next is Shuri as she stands ready with her homemade Black Panther gauntlets. They appear to have been improved since we last saw them in action in Black Panther. She stands next to Vision who still controls the Mind Stone.

Wakanda looks to be a big focus in Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther and the Avengers will have to do everything they can to protect it from the Mad Titan.

The Mad Titan stands ready to conquer. Just like in the trailer he already controls two Infinity Stones which appear to be the Space Stone and the Power Stone. It’s more than likely he acquires the Space Stone from Loki and easily conquers Xandar to acquire the Power Stone, which interestingly enough to could lead to the introduction of Nova.

Spider-Man is back and he’s got his new Iron Spider Suit.

We get a real good luck at Winter Soldier’s new arm which appears to be made of vibranium. Interestingly, he’s paired with Mantis. It’s possible she might help him finally get over the Soviet programming that turned him into an easily controllable assassin.

Drax and War Machine are prepared for battle, but could their pairing hint that these two heroes will die at the hands of Thanos? They’ve both been killed by Thanos in the comics.

Iron Man has once again upgraded his armor. He’s got new wings that might imply he’s taking the suit into space. He’s also competing with Wakanda as his new suit forms from the arc reactor instead of attaching to him. Basically he’s got the suit on 24/7 now. It also looks like it has a number of new weapon upgrades including those gauntlet attachments.

Black Widow sports her new blonde hairdo and she also appears to have some new gadgets courtesy of Wakanda. Her weapons can actually combine into an electrified staff.

Captain America is looking a little rough for wear. He’s been on the run so it makes sense. His uniform is torn up and his once bright star is now completely black. But he does have those new vibranium gauntlets.

Finally, we get Falcon and Gamora. Falcon’s got a brand new suit as well and Gamora appears to have a new sword.

And then if you combine them all together you can see the Avengers logo in the background.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on April 27.
