AMC Theaters Announce MASSIVE Marvel Cinematic Universe Marathon Before Avengers: Infinity War Premiere

Avengers

AMC Theaters are looking to capitalize on Marvel Studios’ upcoming Avengers: Infinity War film by offering a massive Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) marathon before Avengers: Infinity War arrives in theaters.

On AMC Theaters’ website they will be launching a 31 hour Avengers: Infinity War Marathon that will begin on April 25, 2018. Unfortunately, there aren’t any more details on the marathon yet. There isn’t a price. Theater locations that will be hosting the marathon are not listed. But I expect this to change as we get closer to the Avengers: Infinity War premiere.

31 hours is an enormous length to watch all of the MCU movies which will hit a total of 19 movies when Avengers: Infinity War premieres. I don’t think I would be able to handle the 31 hours straight of Marvel films. My brain would most likely shutdown somewhere in the middle. But if you can then more power to you!

And while Marvel Studios will have 19 films out following Avengers: Infinity War, they aren’t stopping there. We will get to see Ant-Man and the Wasp later this summer and Captain Marvel is currently shooting. There’s also the much anticipated Black Widow film. If that’s not enough Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige hinted there are at least 20 more films in the pipeline.

There’s a reason why they aren’t stopping. Marvel Studios films have raked in nearly $6 billion dollars across their 18 films that have been currently released. If you actually adjust that number for inflation it’s over $6.3 billion!

Do you think you could handle a 31 hour Marvel Cinematic Universe marathon? Will you be participating in AMC Theaters’ marathon?

The Avengers will face their greatest foe yet as Thanos and his villainous Black Order come seeking the Infinity Stones in  Avengers: Infinity War, which hits theaters on April 27, 2018.
