Marvel Unleashes New March Madness Avengers: Infinity War TV Spot With New Footage

Thanos and Black Order

Marvel Studios just released a 30 second ad clip during March Madness which teases the brand new Avengers: Infinity War trailer for tomorrow.

The clip starts off showing us Captain America, Black Widow, Vision and a mysterious Avenger walking through an empty building or possibly a helicarrier. There is a fourth character standing behind Captain America, which many believe is Captain Marvel, but given recent news it’s more than likely Doctor Strange or Scarlet Witch instead.

We then get a shot of Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, Wong, and Bruce Banner as they stand amidst rubble and stare in amazement as a shadow looms over them. We then see Spider-Man standing up on what we believe is some kind of spacecraft. Then Doctor Strange casts a spell. We finally get some new footage as Iron Man rockets into the sky toward what appears to be another space ship.

From there we see Thor and Rocket Raccoon flying through space. Then we see Nebula wielding some kind of shock stick. As Nebula pulls out her shock stick we hear Thanos ominously say, “Avengers, the end is near.”

We get a shot of Iron Man about to get his face punched in, but then we get some new footage. It looks like some kind of extraterrestrial buildings. It’s possible they are on Titan and it’s part of the flashback Kevin Feige hinted at. When describing Thanos Feige stated, “He’s from a planet called Titan that’s no longer inhabited because of things that he thought he could help prevent, and he was not allowed to do that. What he feared most happened, and the planet and everybody on it basically went extinct.” It’s quite possible we are seeing the destruction of Titan and what caused the planet to go extinct.

We then get clips of Black Panther, Thanos emerging from the portal, and Captain America leading the Wakandan army into battle.

It’s got me excited and I’m doubly excited to see the new trailer tomorrow.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on April 27, 2018.
