Marvel Releases 12 Character Posters for Avengers: Infinity War – No Hawkeye

Iron Man

Marvel Studios released 12 brand new Avengers: Infinity War character posters. Unfortunately, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye was once again slighted! Marvel must not be taking the fan petition too seriously.

Robert Downey Jr. first revealed the Iron Man poster to Instagram in celebration of his birthday. He even bites into a car cake and offers fans the chance to join him at the Avengers: Infinity War premiere.

Soon after Robert Downey Jr. unveiled the Iron Man poster 11 other characters posters arrived including Captain America, Hulk, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Gamora, Scarlet Witch, Shuri, Vision, Okoye, and War Machine.

Iron Man

Here’s Tony Stark in his Bleeding Edge Iron Man armor. If the armor is anything like the comic version it is going to be quite formidable. And from some TV spots that we have seen it looks like it packs quite a punch.

Iron Man

Captain America

Captain America shows off his new vibranium shield as he prepares to wage war against Thanos and the Black Order.

Captain America

Hulk

There’s been heavy speculation that Bruce Banner will struggle to transform into the Hulk in Avengers: Infinity War. In fact a very prominent theory sees Banner piloting the Hulkbuster armor which doesn’t look like it’s going to hold up based on the last trailer. It’s quite possible Banner might be afraid to turn into the Hulk because he might lose himself as he did on Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok.

Hulk

Black Widow

Black Widow shows off her new blonde due for Avengers: Infinity War. It’s more than likely she’s gone into hiding following the events of Captain America: Civil War and thus needed a new look. She’s also got her brand new staff in hand which she will need as she looks to take on Proxima Midnight based on a recent TV spot.

Black Widow

Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch is ready to cast some magic and tilt the tide of war in the Avengers favor as they face off against Thanos. It’s also more than likely we will see her relationship with Vision develop as the two chose different in Captain America: Civil War. It will be interesting to see how they reconcile and progress throughout the movie.

Scarlet Witch

Vision

Vision still stands strong in this new poster. You can clearly see he still has the Mind Stone on his forehead. But how long will that last when Thanos sends his Black Order including Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight after the sentient android.

War Machine

James Rhodes will be back in action as War Machine in Avengers: Infinity War. The last we saw him he was severely injured and was struggling with walking on his own. Fortunately, Tony Stark is a master genius and appears to have crafted him some support mechanisms that will allow him to not only walk, but pilot the War Machine suit in to battle against Thanos’ forces.

Gamora

The only Guardian of the Galaxy to get her character poster at this time. Gamora looks cool and composed as she readies for battle with her sword. She’s one of the most knowledgeable people about Thanos and will be a huge asset to the Avengers as they prepare to do battle against him.

Gamora

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange is going to play a pivotal role in Avengers: Infinity War. He controls the Time Stone in the Eye of Agamotta which will make him a target for Thanos and the Black Order. We already know he is going to get captured, but the extent of his torture by the Ebony Maw is still unclear. Will we see Shuma-Gorath make an appearance?

Spider-Man

Spider-Man looks real spiffy in his new Iron Spider Suit. He might have turned down the suit at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, but when a galactic tyrant plans to wipe out half of humanity it looks like young Peter Parker will join the Avengers in the fight.

Okoye

Okoye will most likely martial the defenses for Wakanda as Thanos and his galactic horde of Outriders come calling to the secretive African nation.

Okoye

Shuri

Finally, Shuri is ready to do battle again with her technologically advanced Black Panther gauntlets. She will play a pivotal role in developing technology that will help the Avengers and their allies fend off Thanos and his armies.

Avengers: Infinity War comes to theaters on April 27, 2018.
