Just last week directors Joe and Anthony Russo wrote a letter to fans asking them not to spoiler Avengers: Infinity War. Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man, jokingly cracked the letter was originally addressed to him. Well, it appears the letter should have been addressed to him because it seems he just spoiled at least a small part of Avengers: Infinity War.

Holland joined Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, and Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Doctor Strange, for an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America.

Benedict Cumberbatch explained, “We hadn’t seen the footage until last night.” Hiddleston clarified, “We didn’t screen the whole thing. It’s important to mention. None of us have seen the film and will be seeing it at the same time as you guys see it on April 27th because there’s so much about the film that’s being kept under wraps, being kept secret. Last night was about 20 minutes and the first time I’ve seen it.”

The conversation quickly turned to Tom Holland’s reputation as a spoiler. When asked about whether or not producers try to keep him away from the full script Holland quipped, “I’m very stressed right now because this is live. I’m really just trying to sit on it and let these guys do all the talking.” Cumberbatch added, “Tom’s not actually going to the premiere, there’s going to be a separate little red carpet. He’s going to go off and see Toy Story 3.”

But with the next question which was actually directed towards Tom Hiddleston, Holland revealed Spider-Man and Loki were never on set together. Holland reveals, “We only just met like literally last night. That’s the amazing things about these movies. You make films with some of the greatest people in the industry and you never meet them until the film comes out.” He did confirm, “I did work with Chris Hemsworth before.” Holland would go on to reveal a little bit about his wire work as Spider-Man, “In this film, there’s a shot of my face about to explode.”

While, it’s possible Loki and Spider-Man might share screen time due to green screens and the like, the way the conversation went and all the footage we have seen thus far it’s highly likely they will run to each other. In fact, a prominent theory sees Loki perishing at the hands of Thanos after he hands over the Tesseract to the Mad Titan.

It’s also unclear if Holland will share screen time with Thor given Holland worked with Hemsworth in the 2015 film In the Heart of the Sea. But we can be sure to look for the shot of Holland’s Spider-Man being upside down with his face about to explode!

Avengers: Infinity War comes to theaters on April 27, 2018.
