Wonder Woman Star Gal Gadot Remembers the Holocaust in Touching Tribute

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot honored her grandfather, a Holocaust survivor, in a touching tribute she posted to Instagram on Israel’s National Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Gadot honored her grandfather Abraham Weiss in a very personal post. She wrote, “Even though he went thru hell. Lost his ENTIRE family in Auschwitz.. He chose to believe in good. I miss you saba. I love you.”
She would add, “I’ve never seen this video before and it made me cry. And as I think of you today, at this very moment of remembrance, which is also a call for all of us to act against discrimination of any kind. Anywhere in the world.”
This isn’t the first time Gadot has spoken publicly about her grandfather. She remembered him in another Instagram post from last year.
She would write, “Grandpa.. I miss you , hero. You left us 3 years ago but your legacy is living with us forever. My grandfather was born in 1928 in a small village named Muncaks in Czechoslovakia. His ENTIRE family was brutally vanished in WW2. Just because someone had decided they were born into the wrong religion and race.”
Gal Gadot passionately continued, “My grandpa taught me there is NO wrong religion . No wrong color . And no wrong race. I was taught to love all people for what their heart is.”
She concluded, “We’re all spirits and souls in this universe . Light should always beat darkness as love should always beat hatred. Today we remember and never forget.”
