The show will premiere on DC’s upcoming streaming service, DC Universe.

Take a look:

The clip starts off with Nightwing taking down a bunch of goons in a warehouse in Moscow. The goons have imprisoned a number of people in the hopes of turning them into metahumans using a substance called “tar.”

Nightwing makes sure the warehouse is destroyed, but not before he gets a sample of the tar. He uploads the sample to Oracle, who is quickly able to determine where the substance originated from, Markovia.

DC Universe previously released a trailer for the show at San Diego Comic-Con where they also revealed detailed information about what we can expect.

Young Justice: Outsiders will take place three years after the second season. It will introduce a brand new character named Brion and a hero named Thirteen. Thirteen is a mystic trained by Zatanna. The team will also be joined by Forager who will act as comic relief.

As can be seen in the trailer as well as the clip above, the focus of the season will be on a metahuman trafficking syndicate that operates out of Markovia. The team will reunite in order to put a stop to a global arms race involving metahumans.

Show producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti discussed the show with Kevin Smith on the DC Daily with about an hour and 30 minutes left in the livestream.

They discussed a number of the new characters that will be included in the show including Geo-Force, Forager, Halo, and many more.

A release date for the show was not revealed during the livestream, but Young Justice Seasons 1 and 2 will be available on DC Universe beginning on September 15th when the streaming service will launch.
