Henry Cavill Drops Cryptic Instagram Video in Response to Superman Reports!

Superman actor Henry Cavill posted a cryptic Instagram video in response to reports that he would no longer be playing Superman in forthcoming DC Extended Universe movies.
In the video, Cavill lifts up a Superman doll and then puts it back down. In the background Johann Strauss’ [easyazon_link identifier=”B001W0BNP8″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]The Blue Danube Waltz[/easyazon_link] plays with a dog barking along.
Cavill captions the video saying, “Today was exciting #Superman.”

Given Cavill added a dog barking to Strauss’ Waltz could he be hinting that Krypto might soon be introduced into the DC Extended Universe?
A report from The Hollywood Reporter this morning indicated that Henry Cavill would no longer be playing Superman in future DC Films.
The report was disputed by Cavill’s agent Dany Garcia who noted, “the cape is still in his closet.”

Warner Bros. would later issue a statement:
“While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we’ve always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged.”
Neither Henry Cavill nor Warner Bros. gave a definitive statement on whether he could reprise his role of Superman. However, in the THR report they did indicate that Cavill and Warner Bros. had been negotiating for Cavill to cameo in the upcoming Shazam! film. However, talks broke down due to a scheduling issue with Cavill as he was promoting and working on [easyazon_link identifier=”B07FSZ9TP7″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Mission: Impossible – Fallout[/easyazon_link].
Given the revelation that Warner Bros. and Cavill were trying to fit in a cameo for Shazam! I’m highly suspect that Warner Bros. would drop him from Superman just after they were trying to get him into one of their three upcoming films that are coming out within the next year.
