Sexy Rihanna Photo Inspires Poison Ivy Fan Casting!

Rihanna

It’s been well over 20 years since we’ve seen Poison Ivy make her way onto the big screen. Unfortunately, it was in Batman & Robin, one of the arguably worst film adaptations ever for the Caped Crusader even with a powerhouse actress like Uma Thurman taking on the role of Ivy.

A number of fans are hoping to see Poison Ivy finally make her way back to the big screen in the upcoming Harley Quinn-centric Birds of Prey film.

And Rihanna might have just unintentionally thrown her hat into the ring to become Poison Ivy. The actress and singer recently announced her new collection of lingerie wearing a bright green bra accompanied by long green gloves. She also happens to be laying down amid a number of plants.

It didn’t take fans long to see how she was channeling Poison Ivy. Given the clamor, graphic artist Boss Logic was inspired by the lingerie photo and mocked Rihanna up as Poison Ivy.

You can see the changes Boss Logic made giving her a green hue to her skin. He also adjusts the bra to make it more earthy, adding in a leaf like texture. He also adds in the red hair and changes up the color of her lipstick. He even adds a number of bugs to really amp up the background and draw you into Poison Ivy’s natural world. It does a great job of really channeling Poison Ivy.

While there hadn’t been any speculation about Rihanna becoming Poison Ivy there just might now. And it wouldn’t be that far-fetched given Rihanna’s recent foray into movies. She’s even already starred in a comic book movie with 2017’s [easyazon_link identifier=”B0748PBJZ1″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets[/easyazon_link].

With DC’s Birds of Prey the closest to going into production it’s possible we might get to see Poison Ivy show up. We know the film will feature Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and it’s been highly rumored that the Huntress and Black Canary will also be showing up. Other rumors indicate that Batgirl could make an appearance. With at least three potential heroes alongside Harley, she might be a little outnumbered adding in Poison Ivy could even the odds for the potential team.

Even if Poison Ivy doesn’t show up in the first Birds of Prey film, if it can be as successful as Wonder Woman, it’s not of the question to expect a sequel which could feature one of DC’s most famous villains.

And if you want to see another piece Boss Logic did, check out his take on Eva Green as Yennefer from Netflix’s The Witcher.

Boss Logic has done it again with his interpretation of Rihanna as Poison Ivy. What do you think? Does it work? And would you want to see the songstress take on the role?
