Bandai Namco Releases Latest Dragon Ball Super: Broly Trailer Showcasing Gogeta!

Bandai Namco released the latest trailer for their upcoming featured film, Dragon Ball Super: Broly and it features Gogeta, the fusion between Goku and Vegeta.

The thirty second clip shows off an absolutely epic fight between Gogeta and Broly as they throw down their full arsenal at each other. But it’s not just the base form of Gogeta. He powers up multiple times first hitting Super Saiyan and then going to Super Saiyan Blue or Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get an Ultra Instict version of Gogeta.

Rumors about Gogeta appearing in the movie began back in September when it was revealed that animator Yoshihiko Umakoshi was working on the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly film and was practicing animating Gogeta. Along with Umakoshi’s involvement in the film, a synopsis in October revealed that Broly would quickly overwhelm Goku and Vegeta forcing them to go on the defensive. Going on the defensive indicates they would fuse into Gogeta as he is a highly defensive fighter.

While Gogeta is now confirmed, we still don’t quite have all of the details about what might happen. Based on a previous trailer we know Golden Frieza will be making an appearance and his presence could be a wild card. It’s possible he’s somehow allied himself with Broly and

If you are looking for a subbed or dubbed version of the trailer, you shouldn’t have to wait long. Funimation announced they are working on both versions for the trailer.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly comes to Japanese theaters on December 14, 2018. It will arrive in theaters in the United States on January 16, 2019. Do you plan on watching?
