Brie Larson Reveals Which Character She Wants in Captain Marvel 2

Brie Larson took a question from a fan at a Captain Marvel press event in Singapore and revealed which character she would like to see in a sequel to Captain Marvel.
Larson revealed she wanted to share the screen with Ms. Marvel.
“My dream would be that Ms. Marvel gets to come into play.”

Originally, Larson’s character Carol Danvers was Ms. Marvel before she took on the mantle of Captain Marvel in 2012. Marvel Comics would introduce a new Ms. Marvel in the form of Kamala Khan.
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige already confirmed that Kamala Khan would be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe sometime in the future. In an interview with BBC, Feige revealed the studio’s intention to introduce Ms. Marvel in the future.
“We are doing Captain Marvel right now. Captain Marvel is shooting right now with Brie Larson. Ms. Marvel which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero, who is inspired by Captain Marvel is definitely, sort of, in the works. We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world.”
Ms. Marvel or Kamala Khan is a relatively new superheroine. She was created by Kelly Sue DeConnick and Scott Hepburn. She made her first appearance in Captain Marvel #14 in 2013. She would go on to receive her own series in April of 2014. She would eventually join the Champions as well as the Avengers in All-New, All-Different Avengers.
While she might use the same superheroine name that Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel previously used, she has a very different power set. Kamala Khan is actually an Inhuman in the comics and received her powers after she was exposed to the Terrigen Mist. Her powers include the ability to stretch her body in any way imaginable like Mr. Fantastic of the Fantastic Four. She also has the ability to increase and decrease her size like Ant-Man. Kamala also has the ability to shape-shift like the upcoming antagonists in Captain Marvel, the Skrulls.
